Iran Press/Iran news: In a statement released on Thursday, Kanaani condemned the latest Israeli raids on Palestinian cities and refugee camps in the northern West Bank. He highlighted the destruction of urban infrastructure and the forced entry into medical facilities by Israeli forces, describing these actions as an extension of the genocide in Gaza.
"The intensification of Zionist military attacks on the West Bank is a clear indication of the sinister and racist intentions of this regime for the entire geography of Palestine and its people," Kanaani asserted. He argued that these operations reflect a broader agenda to expand the scope of genocide and oppression against Palestinians.
Kanaani’s comments come amid growing international concern over the increasing aggression in the West Bank. He urged global organizations, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to take decisive action against the clear violations of international and humanitarian law by Israel.
"The international community must abandon its inaction and hold the Zionist regime accountable for its ongoing crimes," Kanaani urged, emphasizing the need for urgent intervention to prevent further escalation.
At least 16 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli raids and strikes in several towns in the north of the occupied West Bank, Al Jazeera news channel reported on Thursday.
Al Jazeera also said that the Zionist army claimed that this morning, the commander of Nur Shams Inscription, Muhammad Jaber, nicknamed Abu Shojaa, and four other people were killed in a clash in the Nur Shams mosque.
