Iran Press/ Europe: According to an Iranpress correspondent from Rome, more than two thousand Italians and supporters of Palestine held the flags of Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and South Africa on Saturday evening, despite the cold weather and rain, while condemning the crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza they called for an immediate cessation of genocide and urged a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
Luciano Iallongo, an Italian Pro-Palestinian activist, told the Iran press correspondent in Rome:
"The bombing of the Gaza strip and the forced displacement of Palestinians have turned 4 months."
This Italian activist added: "None of the Western countries have asked for a ceasefire against the killing of the people of Gaza."
Iallongo stated: "We follow the events in Palestine every day and we are aware of the oppression that is inflicted on the Palestinian people. A few days ago, the Israeli settlers, with the support of the Israeli army, looted the food and medicine aid of the Palestinians."
This supporter of Palestine emphasized: "Israel must stop bombing hospitals and killing innocent people in the Gaza Strip."
The demonstrators also strongly criticized the continued support of the Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni's government to the Israeli regime and Rome's joining the American coalition in the Red Sea.
Another participant in this anti-Israeli demonstration told the Iranpress correspondent in Italy:
"We demand an end to the bombarding of Gaza. Israel must end the occupation of Palestinian land that began more than 70 years ago."
This Italian citizen emphasized we demand the formation of a new court to try the executioners of Gaza.
Supporters of Palestine in this anti-Zionist demonstration in Rome, with manuscripts condemning the massive massacre of the people of Gaza and supporting the resistance of the Palestinian people, emphasized the boycott of Israeli and American goods.
