IP- At least five people were killed near Gaza City when hit directly by the US malfunctioned airdrop packages while many more were injured. Also, several people have been killed and wounded after Israeli forces opened fire on aid seekers at the Kuwait Roundabout in Gaza City.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Video footage on social media shows people being hit by aid packages airdropped into Gaza by countries including the United States.

According to locals, some airdropped aid packages failed to be delivered safely because the parachute failed to properly deploy and a parcel fell on people waiting for food packages.

Also on Friday, several people were killed and wounded after Israeli forces opened fire on aid seekers at the Kuwait Roundabout in Gaza City.

More than 100 people were killed last month after Israeli troops opened fire on hundreds waiting for food aid southwest of Gaza City, as the besieged enclave faces an unprecedented hunger crisis.

Gaza’s Health Ministry calls the attacks on aid seekers part of Israel’s ongoing “genocidal war”. It pressed the international community to “urgently intervene” to forge a ceasefire as “the only way to protect civilians”.

Also as a daily disaster, Israeli army attacks killed at least 11 people and wounded many more in the city of Deir el-Balah.

Three more children died of malnutrition and dehydration at Gaza City’s al-Shifa Hospital.

At least 30,878 Palestinians have been killed and 72,402 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. 

Meanwhile, Palestinians criticized the US President's plan to build a temporary pier on Gaza’s coastline to allow the arrival of humanitarian aid as not realistic” and a “distraction” and said that all they need is the US to stop giving weapons to Israel.
