In the latest escalation of violence in the Gaza Strip, Israeli military forces have demolished several mosques and desecrated holy Qurans, tearing and burning them while These actions have sparked outrage across the Muslim world.

Iran Press/West Asia: According to footage aired by Al Jazeera on Saturday, Israeli soldiers were seen entering the "Bani Saleh" mosque in northern Gaza, where they proceeded to tear up and burn copies of the Holy Quran.

Another video from Al Jazeera shows the historic "Khan Younis" mosque in southern Gaza being demolished by Israeli forces. This mosque, one of the oldest in the region, has stood for over a century.

 The destruction of mosques and desecration of the Quran have intensified the anger and grief of the Muslim community worldwide.

In a separate incident, the "Al-Omari" mosque in Gaza, which had a history spanning 14 centuries, was also destroyed by Israeli forces during a recent attack.

According to reports, the ongoing attacks by Israeli forces on Gaza have resulted in the complete destruction of 609 mosques and the partial damage of 211 others. Additionally, three churches have been demolished.

The Israeli regime has disregarded numerous warnings from international and human rights organizations about targeting civilian infrastructure, including hospitals, schools, and religious sites.

Since the outbreak of the Gaza war over ten months ago, more than 40,000 residents, the majority of whom were women and children, have lost their lives.

The media office of the Gaza government recently announced that since October 7, Israeli forces have destroyed 380 mosques and 3 churches, some of which were over 1,000 years old.
