IP - At least 51 people were killed and more than 100 others were injured on Saturday morning in an Israeli airstrike targeted Palestinian refugees in Deir el-Balah in central Gaza.

Iran Press/West Asia: Gaza Health Ministry announced that at least 51 people were killed and more than 100 others were injured seriously after an Israeli airstrike targetted a field hospital at a school in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza City.

Injured people mostly children are among the casualties and victims.

According to reporters in Al-Aqsa Hospital, many injured people suffered critical and serious injuries in dire condition. The Israeli Regime Military in a statement claimed that its target in Deir al-Balah (field hospital at Khadija school) was the "Hamas command and control center", but local and international media reports show that many of the victims are children.

On Saturday many people were killed and injured in different Israeli bombardments.

In another attack earlier this morning, at least 15 people were killed in an Israeli attack on a house in the town of Abasan, east of Khan Younis city.

39,258 killed and 90,589 injured

Gaza’s health ministry announced that the Israeli war on the enclave has killed 39,258 people and injured 90,589.

In a statement on Saturday, the Gaza Health Ministry said the Israeli forces “committed 4 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 41 martyrs and 103 injuries arriving at hospitals during the past 24 hours”.
