Iran Press/Africa: Fady Zein said since the implementation of the ceasefire in South Lebanon between the government of Lebanon and the Israeli regime, Israel has violated the ceasefire at least 50 times in the last weeks.

Lebanon has expressed that they have been violated by the attacks of the Israel forces and now we are waiting for the committee composed of five parties (The United States of America, France, Lebanon, Israel, and the UN represented by the 'United Nations Mission in Lebanon) which will be monitoring the ceasefire in South Lebanon.

"The committee will be ready to start its activities and we will submit our complaints to this committee because Israel as I said before is violating every day the ceasefire agreement."

Regarding the situation in Lebanon, we are all waiting for the session of the 9th of January 2025 which will be held in the parliament in other to elect the next president of Lebanon after a vacancy of more than two years in this post.

He continued: "After the end of the term of former president Michel Aoun in 2022 on the 21st of October we have been without a president for more than two years and now we are hoping that in the coming session on the 9th of January 2025 our parliament will elect a new president, and this new president will form a new government which will begin the reform administrative and which will have a very tough ask to rebuild what had been destroyed by Israel in this last war between 2023 and 2024."

He expressed hope that it would be the last war the people watched in Lebanon: "We hope that Lebanon will get back all its occupied lands by Israel."

As the agreement states Israel has to withdraw its troupes from south Lebanon maximum of 60 days time so we hope that at the end of January 2025, Lebanon will be sovereign again and all the lands that have been occupied by Israel these last months in the south of Lebanon. We thank all the friends of Lebanon and all the countries for sending us help and for sending us planes full of tons of help. Our people and our government will never forget those friends who had been on our side in this tough and cruel crisis. We also thank the Republic of Guinea which has been very helpful to the Lebanese who have come to Guinea lately and who are also helping the Lebanese who have lived in Guinea for a long ago.
