Tehran (IP) - Iran said that any kind of presence of the Zionist regime in the Persian Gulf will be a big trap that is set for regional countries.

Iran Press/Iran news: "We are ready to negotiate with all the regional counties about the security of the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman," the spokesperson of the Iranian Government Ali Rabiei told reporters on Wednesday. 

"We have sent a separate message to these countries about regional security and we have always emphasized that Israel's presence in the region is a trap," he added according to Iran Press.

"Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev in a telephone conversation with Iranian president explain his reasons about postponing of Sochi Conference. The reason behind postponing the conference was some technical issues not political," the spokesperson added.

"Rouhani and Aliyev also talk about bilateral relations in the telephone conversation," Rabiei said.

On Aug. 13, Vice President for Media and Information Affairs, Parviz Esmaili said that the trilateral conference of Iran, Russia, and Azerbaijan scheduled to be held tomorrow in Sochi in Russia on Wednesday was postponed due to technical reasons and with the agreement of the three countries.
