Tehran (IP) - The Israeli regime's attack on Iran two nights ago was just a matter of propaganda and aimed at satisfying the Zionists' general public, said the Iranian Deputy Minister of Defense for Political Affairs.

Iran Press/Iran news: While visiting Iran Press International News Agency on Sunday, Ali Qadri told Iran Press correspondent in an interview: "The Zionist regime was trying to represent itself as an invincible military and security power by creating psychological war, but we saw that Israel failed to showing what it was to pretend."

On Saturday early morning, October 26, the Israeli regime tried to hit some targets within the Iranian national territories as several sounds resembling explosions were heard, particularly in western Tehran, the capital, and Khuzestan and Ilam Provinces in Western Iran. The Israeli missiles were intercepted and caused little damage.

Qaderi said that the Zionist regime did not have the ability to strike Iran, because the Iranian air defense units are always ready and closely monitor the movements of the Zionist regime.

He noted that now the Islamic Republic is in a position how to respond to the aggression, yet he referred to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution's notion that "we act neither hastily nor with delay."

In a bold response to the Israeli regime's violation of Iranian national sovereignty over the assassination of Hamas Leader Ismail Haniya in Tehran, the Islamic Republic of Iran launched Operation True Promise II on October 1, targeting key Israeli military and intelligence installations with missiles.

The True Promise I happened earlier as the Israeli regime hit the consular building of the Islamic Republic's Embassy in Damascus on  April 1, 2024.
