IP - For the second time on Monday, Israel targeted southern Lebanon with intensive airstrikes.

Iran Press/West Asia: For the second time on Monday, the Israeli military launched a new wave of airstrikes against southern Lebanon at 11:15 local time in Beirut.

Several villages and towns were targeted in the second round of Israeli attacks. Eastern Beka was one of the Israeli airstrikes' targets.

Sirens Sound in Northern Israel

Sirens sound in several settlements close to the northern border with Lebanon, after Hezbollah retaliatory rocket attacks including in Galilee.

Israeli officials ordered settlers in Upper Galilee to stay in shelters.

The alerts come shortly after the IDF launched widespread strikes on Hezbollah targets 

The alerts sounded shortly after Israel launched a second wave of airstrikes in southern Lebanon. 

Lebanon Health Ministry announced that 3 people were wounded in the past hour.

In the first round of Israeli most intensive attacks on southern and eastern  Lebanon with more than 150 airstrikes on Monday early morning, at least one person was killed and 17 others were injured.

11 people were injured in the Israeli air strike on the border town of Aytaroun this morning.

On Saturday, an Israeli strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut killed 45 people, including a senior Hezbollah commander, and wounded 66.

In response, Hezbollah launched a barrage of rockets into northern and central Israel on Sunday and targeted Ramat David and Rafael's military base along with dozens of other military targets.
