Iran Press/ West Asia: Since the launch of Israeli aggression against Palestinians, at least 13,000 have been killed, including over 9,000 women and children, and more than 30,000 others have been injured, according to the latest figures by Palestinian authorities. Also, thousands of buildings, including hospitals, mosques, and churches, have also been damaged or destroyed in Israel’s relentless air and ground attacks on the besieged enclave.
The statement of Hamas says: "After difficult, complicated, and long negotiations, we announce that with the help of Almighty God and the great efforts of the Qatari and Egyptian sides, we have reached a humanitarian ceasefire agreement (temporary ceasefire) for 4 days."
Furthermore, Hamas announced the provisions of this agreement, according to which, the conflicts from both sides, the military activities of the Israeli regime army in all areas of Gaza, and the movement of armored vehicles of this regime in Gaza will be stopped.
According to this agreement, hundreds of special trucks carrying humanitarian aid, medical aid and fuel will enter all areas of Gaza without exception.
Hamas added that 50 Israeli women and children under the age of 19 will be released against 150 Palestinian women and children under the age of 19 based on the records of the captivity.
In the continuation of this agreement, it is stated: "The attacks and flights of the Israeli regime's fighter jets and planes will be stopped during the four days of the ceasefire in southern Gaza and in northern Gaza for 6 hours from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Earlier, news sources had reported that the Zionist cabinet had officially accepted and approved the prisoner exchange agreement with the Hamas.
Izzat al-Risheq, a member of the Hamas political office, in an interview with Al-Jazeera television, said that a ceasefire with Israel will be announced by Qatar.
According to him, based on this agreement, the issues of the arrival of aid to Gaza and the freedom of women and children are discussed on both sides.
