Iran Press/ Iran news: In an interview with Iran Press on Wednesday Nasser Abusharif said that Imam Khomeini established a country based on the ruling system of Prophet Mohammad's model but in its modern form.
Nasser Abu Sharif said that the fight against the West's plots and occupation was part of the Islamic Revolution's goals, especially the eradication of the Israeli regime.
He made the comments on the sidelines of a ceremony of the social activists, NGOs, and the media's renewal of allegiance with the causes of the late Founder of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khomeini at the Mausoleum of Imam Khomeini in Tehran.
The Islamic movements, Abu Sharif said, were making the necessary efforts to the extent they could to follow the path of Imam Khomeini.
Abu Sharif said in response to whether the Arab countries got informed about the significance of the campaign against the Israeli regime and the world's arrogant powers: "With great regret, no; but vice versa. The Arab countries have destroyed Islam in favor of the Zionist regime and the West, and left Palestine and Iran in the lurch."
"Contrary to what we imagine, the ruling Arab regimes have left Palestine alone," he added, pointing out that it was Islam and the Islamic Revolution of Iran that care about Palestine.
Abu Sharif called on all to review the Islamic Revolution and Imam Khomeini's characteristics because what Imam Khomeini founded encompassed the establishment of civilized Islam, the fight against the West's plots, and saving humankind from the US' oppression.
The Islamic Revolution of Iran has had its impact and revived the belief that Islam was capable of resisting the West and could lead humankind to prosperity, he told Iran Press.
