Tehran (IP) – A bust of the late Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian was unveiled in front of the World Service Building of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting Organization (IRIB).

Iran Press/Iran news: After the martyrdom of the late Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Head of the IRIB World Service called for the construction of the FM's bust and named the World Service building Martyr Amir-Abdollahian in commemoration of him. 

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony held on Thursday, the Head of IRIB Peyman Jebelli praised martyr Amir-Abdollahian's endeavors to strengthen the Resistance front and its media, the IRIB World Service. 

During the Islamic awakening wave and in North Africa, the only senior diplomat who was determined to defend the message of the Islamic Revolution along with the late martyr Soleimani was martyr Amir Abdollahian, Jebelli said.

He pointed out: "Were it not for his support, today we would not have seen the Tunisian president coming to Tehran during the Martyrs' funeral ceremony which led to the formation of large-scale openings in the relations between Iran and Tunisia."

The Head of IRIB referred to the Sobh (morning) international media festival as a fruit of the late FM Amir-Abdollahian's support for the national media, noting that the Resistance Front owes its superior position in the region to the late FM's endeavors. 

Also, the Head of the IRIB World Service Ahmad Nowruzi said at the ceremony that the late FM Amir-Abdollahian advanced the Iranian foreign policy in the best way and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution described him as an astute negotiator fully adhering to the Islamic Republic's fundamentals. 

He said that martyr Amir-Abdollahian endeavored to hoist the Iranian flag of honor in the world such that his achievements in foreign policy and intelligence were clear to all.
