Iran Press/ Iran news: While congratulating the Journalist's Day, the Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards (IRGC) said: "Our journalists have a real presence in various scenes, and they act lovingly in a professional format to convey important messages and images of the events of our country, our revolution and our system."
According to Iran press news agency, IRGC Chief Major General Hossein Salami said before noon on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at the "Strong Iran's Progress with Strong Journalists" conference:
"We honor the Journalist's Day, which is the shining day of the sacrifice of a faithful journalist, Martyr Saremi, which is named after the holy name of the Journalist's Day, and congratulate the media community of the country."
The Chief Commander of the IRGC added: "Everything starts from the minds and hearts, the heart, which is known as the center of human belonging, is "as big as the universe.
Major General Salami further noted:
"To day we live in a world which is witnessing the media war within a brood realm consisting of two parts;
The one where the friends of the Revolution as well as the people of the Resistance and the Muslim Countries have been standing and the other side which belongs to the oppressors."
IRGC chief went on to state: "The journalists are retelling and writing the reality and seeking for truth and also they are the voice of the voiceless."
