Iran Press/ Iran news: The chamber of commerce heads of Iraq's Diyala and Al-Amara provinces and Iran's Ahvaz head of chamber of commerce as well as a board of Iraqi traders entered the province of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari on Wednesday to visit the fair.
The fair in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari showcases the capacities of the province's tourism industry, and handicraft and presents its industrial, agricultural production, and knowledge-based companies.
After visiting the fair, the Iraqi traders are slated to visit tourist attractions of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari and then will negotiate issues of mutual interest with the economic authorities of the province.
Industry, mining and trade organization of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari have signed two trilateral memorandum of understandings with Ahvaz, Diyala and Al-Amara chambers of commerce.
Among West Asian countries, Iraq has the closest cultural and religious ties with Iran and has the longest shared border (about 120 km land border and 351 km water border) with the country.
The two countries have long historical, religious, ethnic and language ties as well as similar security and economic interests.
