Iraq (IP) - The Federal Court of Iraq issued a verdict by virtue of which the Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament was dismissed.

Iran PressWest Asia: The Iraqi Federal Court investigated the claim of a lawmaker, Leith al-Deilami against the parliament speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi.

Presenting evidence to the court, al-Deilmi told the court that Speaker al-Halbousi concluded a contract with a foreign company the director of which was the former prime minister of the Israeli regime.

According to the evidence, one of the goals of the company was the normalization of Baghdad-Tel Aviv relations.

Finally, after the examination of the evidence provided, the Iraqi Federal Court issued a verdict by virtue of which the parliament speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi was dismissed on November 14, 2023.

It was in last year's summer that the Iraqi parliament, chaired by the very Muhammad al-Halbousi, criminalized the normalization of ties with Israel.

Since October 7, the Israel regime has been hitting different parts of the Gaza Strips including the famous Palestinian Al-Mamadani Hospital in the Gaza Strip, among the other medical centers and schools it has so far hit in continuation of its 75-year crimes against the Palestinian nation.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced in its latest figures on the 35th day of the war on Gaza, the number of those people martyred reached over 11,500.
