Iraq (IP) - One of the senior leaders of Iraq's Ansarallah al-Awfiya movement has announced an increase in attacks by Iraqi Islamic resistance groups against Israeli positions in the occupied Palestinian territories and the Golan Heights.

Iran Press/West Asia: Ali al-Fatlawi, a prominent figure within Iraq's Ansarallah al-Awfiya, told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed on Sunday that the movement, which includes several Iraqi Islamic factions, has decided to intensify its operations targeting Israeli sites in occupied Palestine and the Golan Heights.

Al-Fatlawi added that the Iraqi Islamic resistance has resolved to ramp up its activities against the Israeli regime across multiple fronts. This decision, he said, is part of a broader strategy to counter Israeli genocide in Gaza and Lebanon by increasing resistance efforts in response to ongoing Israeli crimes.

The senior leader emphasized that the resistance possesses new military capabilities, including drones and missiles, which they plan to deploy in the coming phase as hostilities increase. Al-Fatlawi also highlighted security and preventive measures taken by the resistance to guard against potential Israeli attacks on weapon depots, leaders, and movement activities within Iraq.
