Iran Press/ Middle East: "Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will arrive in Baghdad tomorrow, Monday, to meet with his Iraqi counterpart, Fuad Hussein, to discuss cooperation and development relations between the two countries," Ahmed al-Sahaf said in a statement.
The Iranian Foreign Minister is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, Monday, after the end of his visit to Qatar; Leave Doha for the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
The Iranian foreign minister will visit Iraq for two days, and in addition to meeting with his Iraqi counterpart, Zarif will meet with other Iraqi officials.
During his visit to Iraq, Zarif will also meet with officials from the local government of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region.
The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Baghdad, Iraj Masjedi, in a Twitter message on Saturday night described the visit of the Iranian Foreign Minister to Baghdad as another opportunity to strengthen relations between the two nations and the two governments of Iraq and Iran.
"Expanding and deepening relations with neighboring countries, including Iraq, has always been among the priorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran," Iraj Masjedi said in a Twitter message. 219
