Tabriz (IP)- The president of Tabriz University and Karadeniz Technical University signed a memorandum of cooperation.

Iran PressIran News: On the sidelines of the signing ceremony of the MoU with Karadeniz Technical University, the president of Tabriz University of Iran Safar Nasrollahzadeh stated that Tabriz University follows the policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is the development of the academic ties with the neighboring countries. 

The development of cooperation can be implemented through the exchange of professors and students, implementation of joint scientific and research projects, holding training courses, and conferences, creation of joint training and research groups, and study opportunities, according to the Tabriz University president Nasrollahzadeh. 

The president of Karadeniz Technical University of  Türkiye Hamdullah Çuvalci welcomed the academic cooperation with the Iranian university, enlisting the fields for further academic developments such as joint educational and research courses, holding conferences, and exchange of professors and students.      

Tabriz University is the largest university in northwest Iran and one of the 14 largest universities in the country, with more than 24,000 students in various fields.

The University of Tabriz currently cooperates with more than 200 universities, with Turkish universities at the top of the list.
