The Iranian student robotics team, competing in the age group of 7 to 17 years, has achieved the title of world runner-up in the global championships held in Beijing.

Iran PressAsia: The Iranian student robotics team demonstrated remarkable performance at the Beijing World Championships, surpassing their previous achievements.

They secured second place overall in the technical report category, replicating their success from the last competition.The team, comprising 48 talented students organized into 16 groups of three, participated in five leagues: rugby, football, sumo, creativity, and overall scoring.

In the competition, China took first place, followed by Iran in second, and Romania in third.Two teams of three students each in the under-12 category delivered outstanding performances, earning silver and bronze medals by claiming second and third places in the creativity league. China secured first place in this league.

Additionally, in the creativity league for the 12 to 17-year-old group, Iranian students achieved fourth place for the first time in a closely contested competition.

Previously, the Iranian student robotics team won third place at the 2019 Malaysia competition, runner-up in the 2022 India and 2023 China competitions, and were crowned Asian champions last year in Malaysia.
