At Iranian-Arab dialogue conference:

Tehran (IP) - The Heade of Iran's Council of Strategic Relations stressed the Israeli war on Gaz as the main issue of the West Asia region, which is continued due to the US and Europe's support for the regime.

Iran PressIran news: Tehran is hosting the third Iranian-Arab Dialogue Conference "For Cooperation and Interaction" on Sunday evening, May 12.

The three-day conference is hosted by Iran’s Strategic Council on Foreign Relations. Around 40 scholars and experts from 15 Arab countries are estimated to attend the conference, who will have analyses about the issues facing the West Asia region and the Islamic world.

Speaking at the conference, Kamal Kharrazi said that the US and Europe provide Israel with lethal weapons along with financial support, which is the main reason for the continuation of the war, on the one hand, and simultaneously shed crocodile tears for the women and children martyred in Gaza, on the other hand.

Kharrazi said that the Islamic countries have made efforts to boycott the Israeli regime, and the world's general public has been awakening including in the US and Europe.

Elsewhere he referred to the deterrence doctrine of the Islamic Republic and noted that if the Israeli regime dared to threaten Iran with a nuclear attack, then Ira would rethink its nuclear doctrine, noting that Iran advocated a region free from any nuclear arsenals and every year announce it in the UN general assembly.

The strong region brings sustainable domestic security / Nuclear Isreal must be disarmed

Kharrazi emphasized the domestic security in the region and stated that the Islamic Republic welcomes the strength of the region's countries:

"Some people think that if the countries of the region gain a lot of power, it will turn into a cause for concern, while it is the opposite. This region will see peace when all countries become strong."

He said that Iran was ready to offer help to the region's countries both in terms of military equipment and new technologies to ensure the sustainable peace and security of the region.

Kharrazi highlighted Israel as such a concern and recalled that the regime is in possession of nuclear weapons that have been acquired thanks to the US and European countries.

"Since 1974, in the previous [Pahlavi] regime, we wanted a region free of nuclear weapons, and we still do, and we and Egypt defend this idea every year at the United Nations General Assembly."

The key to the secure region, he noted, is that the only possessor of the nuclear arsenals in the region, Israel, is to be disarmed otherwise the region free of nuclear weapons will not be realized and nuclear competition will intensify.

He referred to the deterrence doctrine of the Islamic Republic and noted that if the Israeli regime dared to threaten Iran with a nuclear attack, then Iran would rethink its nuclear doctrine.

The head of Iran's Council of Strategic Relations reiterated that it was time for the region's countries to prepare the grounds for establishing peace and security in the region in the form of collective security plans and non-aggression pacts.

Yet, the Iranian senior diplomat said: "It is surprising that some countries normalized their relations with Israel with the pressure and mediation of the United States, and unfortunately, despite all the Israeli aggressions against the Palestinians, they maintained these relations, they are not ready to strengthen their relations with Islamic Iran." 219
