Iran Press/ Iran News: Speaking at a council session, Ebrahim Raisi acknowledged the severe energy imbalance inherited by his administration but expressed confidence in the country's facilities and capacities to rectify the situation.
He stressed the importance of increasing renewable energy generation, leveraging the expertise of knowledge-based companies to optimize energy consumption and reduce waste, complying with energy-saving regulations in the construction industry, and improving energy efficiency in transportation, industrial, and agricultural sectors.
The council has enacted several laws aimed at upgrading the energy efficiency market, diversifying the energy production and consumption basket, facilitating contracts for gas field development, collecting associated petroleum gas (APG), and increasing crude oil refining capacity.
