Tehran (IP) - Iran's President will leave Tehran for Islamabad on Monday at the formal invitation of his Pakistani counterpart.

Iran PressIran news: Leading a high-ranking political and economic delegation, Ebrahim Raisi is scheduled to have a 2-day visit to Pakistan and hold a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. 

Raisi is also scheduled to meet with his counterpart Asif Ali Zardari and some trips to other cities of Pakistan to have meetings with businessmen, elites, and religious scholars. 

Asif Ali Zardari invited Iran's President on the Eid al-Fitr holidays in a telephone conversation and said that Islamabad would remain committed to close cooperation with Tehran in different areas.
