Tehran (IP)- Iran's foreign minister and his Omani counterpart discussed the recent developments in Gaza during a phone call.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian expressed concern over the fake Zionist regime's renewed war crimes in Gaza, highlighting its disregard for international requests and global public opinion.

He stressed the importance of increased efforts by Islamic countries to halt these transgressions.

Amir-Abdollahian said: "On my trip to Beirut last week, I was informed by the leaders of the resistance that in the event of a resumption of attacks by the Israeli regime, the resistance's response will be off-putting and even more robust than ever."

Oman's Foreign Minister, Seyyid Badr Albusaidi,for his part, called the reignition of war and its escalation in the region regrettable.

Both parties emphasized the urgency of securing a lasting ceasefire and the widespread delivery of humanitarian aid. They urged the international community to take effective measures towards achieving these goals.
