Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh

Iran's Oil Minister has traveled to Russia, to take part in the upcoming Gas Exporting Countries Forum as well as the Russian Energy Week forum, which will be held in the Manege Central Exhibition Hall, Moscow.

Iran Press/Europe: Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh arrived at Moscow's Sheremetyevo International Airport on Wednesday morning.

He has already met and conferred with the Russian Energy Minister, Alexander Novak, and he is slated to deliver a keynote speech at the third Russian Energy Week forum. Senior officials from 66 countries are attending the forum, Iran Press reported.

The third Russian Energy Week international forum will be held at Moscow’s Central Exhibition Hall ‘Manege’ on 2–5 October 2019, with the participation of energy ministers and senior officials of 66 countries.

The gas exporter countries forum (Gas OPEC), including 19 countries, in total, enjoy 44 percent of the world's gas production, 67 percent of the gas reservoir, 64 percent of gas pipeline transmission, and 66 percent of Liquefied natural gas (LNG) trade. 101/216/211
