Iran Press/ Iran News: A funeral procession of 5 martyrs of the Israeli regime attack on Syria was held on Monday morning in Tehran.
Earlier on Sunday a funeral procession was held in the Holy Shrines of Damascus, Syria's capital, for the IRGC members who were martyred in the country.
As reported by Iran Press, political, military, and other officials from Syria attended the ceremony on Sunday. The bodies of the martyrs are expected to buried in their hometowns.
Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement on Saturday that the Israeli regime has conducted airstrikes in Damascus, resulting in the martyrdom of some Syrian forces and the martyrdom of five IRGC advisers
The IRGC statement named the five martyrs as follows: Hojatullah Omidvar, Ali Aghazadeh, Hossein Mohammadi, Saeed Karimi and Mohammed Amin Samadi.
Meanwhile, media reports said earlier that an Israeli attack had targeted a building in the Mazzeh neighborhood of Damascus.
The security source told Reuters that a multi-story building used by Iranian advisers was entirely flattened by "precision-targeted Israeli missiles.
