The commander of Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), said enemy's military bases are located "within the reach of our missiles both on the ground and out at sea."

Iran News: Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, in a televised speech on Wednesday night, said that the country owes the precision of its missiles to the prudence of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution because he said his first priority was the precision of missiles, Iran Press News Agency reported.

"We have been accomplishing a lot in the field of missiles for the past 34 years, mastering the capability to produce a variety of missiles, but the missiles lacked the required precision. When I was picked to lead the force I had a meeting with Ayatollah Khamenei, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, who set his priority as precision of the missiles. Today, we owe the precision of our missiles to the prudence of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution," he said.

Brigadier General Hajizadeh added, "but we did not have the necessary infrastructure in the country, however we had learned to follow the Leader, thus we worked hard and achieved success. At the first meeting after we tested the accuracy of the missiles to thirty meters, the Leader said it showed that you are capable of achieving even higher precision. We managed to destroy some of the targets from a 589 kilometers' distance. The Leader wanted us to avoid hitting civilians, therefore two missiles had to commit suicide because of a technical difference in range and direction. Our missiles are equipped with a suicide system."

He reiterated that "martyr Tehrani Moghaddam was a genius commander who founded the IRGC's artillery and missile programs, and continued with his job after the war. A large number of missile specialists and scientists are working anonymously to secure the country as demanded by their commander."

Referring to multiple threats the country has been faced with since the Islamic revolution, Hajizadeh said the Islamic Republic of Iran has been sanctioned since the beginning; the country was not allowed to import arms and weapons but today it is not allowed to export weapons. Therefore, he said, we have learned to turn threats into opportunities.

Hadjizadeh, refered to the presence of U.S. bases in the region, saying that "Al-Adid and Zafare bases are less than 300 km far away from us while the Kandahar base in Afghanistan is located 400 km away."

These bases are located within our reach as the meat under our teeth and we can hit them if they make a wrong move. The same is true in the sea. Today, we have produced missile with a range of 700 kilometers, which can be used in the Sea of Oman, leaving U.S. carriers as targets for us. 206/103
