Iran Press/ Asia: The first 3-weight matches of the junior freestyle wrestling competitions were held on Monday in Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan.
Sina Khalili, Abolfazl Hosseini, and Abolfazl Rahmani each defeated their rivals on the first day of the event respectively in 65 kg, 71 kg, and 80 kg weight categories and won the gold medals.
The second and final 7-weight matches will also be held on Tuesday, tomorrow.
Iran's junior Greco-Roman wrestling team won the championship title of the U17 Asian Championships in Bishkek, on Sunday.
The Iranian Greco-Roman wrestling team managed to win 4 golds, 2 silvers, and 2 bronzes and stood in first place in Asia after four years.
