Iran's Foreign Minister continuing his diplomatic meetings on the sidelines of the Davos Summit, met and talked with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Great Britain, Georgia and the President of Armenia on Wednesday.

Iran PressEurope: Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian continued his diplomatic meetings and bilateral talks in Davos, Switzerland, and met and talked with Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan on Wednesday.

In this meeting, various bilateral issues, including economic and commercial cooperation, as well as issues of regional interest, particularly recent developments in Palestine, were discussed.

In his other meeting, Amir-Abdollahian met and talked with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, Tania Fajon.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in this meeting with his Slovenian counterpart, called for the strengthening of commercial and economic cooperation between the two countries and emphasized the need to increase commercial cooperation between the private sector of Iran and Slovenia.

Amir-Abdollahian also emphasized the importance of parliamentary cooperation between the two sides and called for the activation of parliamentary friendship groups.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, expressing her satisfaction with this meeting, emphasized her country's position in condemning the terrorist act in Kerman and reiterated her country's condolences and sympathies with the government and the people of Iran.

Tania Fajon stressed her country's desire to strengthen relations with Iran and by confirming various areas of bilateral cooperation, she expressed her country's desire to continue consultations to achieve common goals in areas of mutual interest.

She also expressed her concern about the developments in Gaza and declared the necessity of ending the violence in Gaza as her country's position.

Explaining her country's point of view on some regional issues, including Palestine, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia emphasized Slovenia's readiness to continue consultations and cooperation to resolve regional crises.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian also met and talked with British Foreign Minister David Cameron on Wednesday night in continuation of his diplomatic meetings in Davos, Switzerland.

In this meeting, various bilateral and regional issues were discussed.

Meeting with Ilia Darchiashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, and  Vahagn Khachaturyan President of Armenia was among other programs of Amir-Abdollahian on Wednesday.

Based on the invitation of the Islamic Republic of Iran to participate in the programs of the Davos 2024 summit, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian arrived in Switzerland on Tuesday to participate in the programs of this summit.

In addition to participating in the summit programs, Amir-Abdollahian has held various bilateral meetings with counterparts and high officials of different countries participating in the summit, during which issues of bilateral, regional and international interest have been discussed and opinions exchanged.

The Davos Summit is held every year by the World Economic Forum with the presence of senior public and private officials of the world in the city of Davos, Switzerland. 219
