Iran Press/ Iran news: Iranian foreign minister’s senior advisor for special political affairs Ali Asghar Khaji on Monday met with a member of Ansarullah’s political council and the Yemeni government’s chief negotiator Mohammad Abdul Salam.
In the meeting, Khaji and Abdul Salam discussed the latest developments on the ground in Yemen as well as the political and humanitarian situation in the country.
The two sides further held talks over the latest developments in the region, especially the issue of Gaza, and called for an immediate end to the crimes of the Zionist regime as well as the establishment of a prompt and inclusive permanent truce there.
Khaji and Abdul Salam also stressed the need to find a political solution to the Yemen crisis.
The Iranian diplomat welcomed the progress in the peace talks and noted Iran’s readiness to help further the process. 219
