Warsaw(IP)- The Iranian Embassy in Poland hosted a screening of the iconic Iranian film The Survivor, directed by the late Seifollah Dad, at the Atlantic Cinema in Warsaw.

Iran Press/Europe: On Tuesday, the embassy showcased the film for ambassadors, diplomats, and cultural representatives from various countries stationed in Warsaw. The movie, based on the novel Returning to Haifa by renowned Arab writer Ghassan Kanafani, was made 30 years ago and remains a powerful exploration of the Palestinian genocide.

Recognized for its compelling depiction of a sensitive issue, The Survivor is widely regarded as a standout work in Iranian cinema addressing the Palestinian cause.

As the war in Gaza escalated in 2023, with increasing atrocities committed by the Zionist regime, Iranian cinema has emphasized the need for more content centered on Palestine and Gaza. The Survivor remains a flagship piece underscoring this enduring commitment.
