Iran Press/ West Asia: During a poetry ritual that was held to support the oppressed people of Palestine with the participation of the cultural attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Baghdad and a number of Iraqi poets, Iran's ambassador to Iraq, Mohammad Kazem Al-Sadegh said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has always been a supporter of the oppressed Palestinian nation, and denominating a special day to commemorate holy Quds has been indeed due to support the Palestinian nation until Israeli regime is demolished."
At the poetry night ritual to support the oppressed Palestinian people at the Iranian embassy in Baghdad, Al-Sadegh stated: "For 80 years, the world has witnessed the crimes of the Zionists, and now a genocide is taking place during the heavy attacks of the child-killing regime against the defenseless people of the Gaza Strip."
The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq stated that the embassy of the Islamic Republic played a small role in defending the Palestinians and the people of Gaza, and on this occasion, a poetry night was held tonight with the presence of great Iraqi poets at the embassy, to send a message to the Palestinian people with the language of poetry, which is expressive and effective, that the people of Iraq and the Muslim nations are always standing with them.
On October 7, 2023, the Palestinian resistance forces launched the surprise operation "Al-Aqsa Flood" from the Gaza Strip against the positions of the occupying Quds regime, and this regime, in order to retaliate and compensate for its defeat by the resistance operations, closed all the crossings leading to the Gaza Strip and is currently bombarding Gaza's residential and medical areas. 219
