Tehran (IP) - Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance said Iran's cinema goes forward based on hope, ethics, and knowledge.

Iran Press/Iran news: Delivering a short speech at the end of the ceremony, Mohammad-Mahdi Esmaili said cinema and art are the most important for elevating the Iranian people's honor and guarding their non-tangible assets like religion, national rituals, virtuosity, and Hijab.

Emphasizing the Hijab, Esmaili said that according to the latest nationwide survey on the issue, 85 percent of the people honorably support the Islamic dress code.

He commemorated the 45th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution and said that during 45 years since the victory, the people of Iran have steadfastly stood up for their ideals, such as preserving their national identity has been one of their ideals.
