Iran Press/ Iran News: Organized through the efforts of the Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and in collaboration with the Faculty of Fine Arts at Ankara University, the exhibition presents masterpieces by calligraphy artists from the Jihad Daneshgahi Art Unit of Iran. The event is being held at the Music and Art Exhibition Center of Ankara University.
Amin Mokhtari, head of the Jihad Daneshgahi Art Unit, stated, "This is the first time an exhibition of Iranian Nastaliq calligraphy works, inspired by Rumi's poetry, has been held in Turkey. The event has been warmly received by art enthusiasts."
Rumi, also known as Jalal al-Din Muhammad Balkhi (1207–1273), was a 13th-century Persian poet, Islamic scholar, theologian, and Sufi mystic. He is one of the most celebrated figures in Persian literature and Islamic spirituality, whose works have transcended time and cultural boundaries.
The exhibition highlights the rich heritage of Iranian calligraphy, blending traditional artistic expression with the timeless themes of Rumi's mystical poetry.
