Mojtaba Amani, Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon, clarified the details of his injury sustained during the recent Israeli terrorist attack in Beirut, stating he was proud to stand alongside the Lebanese people.

Iran Press/West Asia: Amani, who was injured due to an explosion, assured in a social media message that his treatment is progressing well, crediting both Lebanese and Iranian doctors for their efforts. He emphasized that being wounded while supporting the oppressed in Lebanon is an honor.

Amani expressed gratitude for the medical care he received, noting, "Thanks to the prompt and crucial actions of Lebanese doctors and the valuable efforts of Iranian doctors, my treatment is progressing well. I consider it an honor to have been alongside the oppressed people of Lebanon during this war crime."

The Iranian Ambassador in Beirut further expressed his appreciation, saying, "I am deeply grateful to all officials, my fellow countrymen, and Lebanese friends who showed concern for my health, offered prayers, and expressed their kindness. I especially thank the honorable President, ministers, and Iranian officials for the swift response that saved the lives of the wounded. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to the medical teams in Lebanon and Iran for their tireless efforts in treating me and the other victims. I pray to Almighty God for the speedy recovery of all the injured and for divine mercy and blessings upon the martyrs."

On Tuesday evening, the Zionist regime carried out a terrorist attack that caused communication devices known as pagers to explode in several areas of Lebanon, resulting in deaths of a number of people and injuries of over 2,000 others.
