The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Armenia, in continuation of his one-day trip to Syunik province, which was made to donate humanitarian aid to the local authorities, met with a number of displaced people from Karabakh who have settled in the city of Kapan.

In this sincere meeting, Iran's ambassador in Armenia Mehdi Sobhani, while learning about the latest situation and conditions of the refugees, expressed his sympathy with the refugees of Karabagh.

After the military attack of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Karabagh to take control of this region, the Armenian officials agreed to lay down their weapons and hand them over to the Russian peacekeeping forces.

Since then, the Armenian people of Karabagh, who lived there for about three decades, left this region and went to Armenia.

According to the announcement of the Yerevan government, almost all Armenians living in Karabakh, whose number is 120,000, entered Armenia. 219
