Tehran (IP) - The Iranian Acting President Mohammad Mokhber left Tehran for Astana on Wednesday evening to take part in the 24th summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Iran PressIran news: Before his trip to Kazakhstan, Mokhber told reporters that this time Iran is to take part in the SCO summit as a full member.

He said that during the meeting he would pursue the issues the late President Raisi proposed in the meeting of the SCO prime ministers. 

The Iranian Acting President will have meetings with the heads of some of the member states.  

Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, hosts the SCO summit on July 4 and 5.
