The foreign ministers of Iran and Turkmenistan consulted in a conversation over the will of the two countries to expand comprehensive cooperation in different fields.

Iran Press/Asia: During the Wednesday evening telephone conversation, Iran's FM Abbas Araghchi assessed the Tehran-Ashgabat relations growing.

His counterpart, Rashid Meredov, for his part, called the recent visits of the two countries' high-ranking officials a symbol of high-level interactions between the two sides and emphasized the expansion of bilateral relations.   

The two FMs discussed ways to develop economic and commercial relations and continue cooperation between the two countries in regional and international organizations.

Iran and Turkmenistan share a cultural heritage as a key pillar for peace and sustainable development.
