Tehran(IP): In a letter to Josep Borrell the EU’s foreign affairs chief , the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran called for more effective measures to stop the occupation regime's attacks on the Gaza strip.

Iran PressIran news: In a letter to Josep Borrell, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, the Iranian  Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian addressed the  recent positions of the European side regarding the necessity of establishing a ceasefire and, stopping the killing of civilians in Gaza, observing  the international humanitarian law and the urgent need to send aid to the homeless people of Gaza.

Iran's top diplomat welcomed Borrell's stance on declaring building settlements as a gross violation of international humanitarian law and condemning the violence in the West Bank by Zionist settlers.

In this letter, the head of the EU’s foreign affairs chief was requested to take more effective steps to permanently stop the Israeli regime's attacks on the Gaza Strip, to completely lift the blockade and end the occupation.
