Iran Press/ West Asia: Ali Bagheri Kani on a two-nation regional tour left Tehran for Beirut on Monday.
Iran's Acting Foreign minister arrived in Lebanon Monday on his first official diplomatic visit since Late Iranian FM, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian martyrdom in a helicopter crash incident.
After meeting with "Abdallah Rashid Bouhabib", the Lebanese Foreign Minister on Monday and taking part in a joint press conference, Bagheri met with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Miqati and Speaker of the National Assembly Nabih Berri in Beirut.
Ali Bagheri Kani then met the Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah Resistance Movement, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
Bagheri and Nasrallah discussed a wide range of regional and bilateral issues including war in Gaza.
Bagheri Kani in Lebanon also visited the Martyr Cemetery to pay his respect to resistance fighters.
Iran's Acting FM departed Beirut on Damascus on Tuesday. Ali Bagheri will meet with top Syrian officials and discuss bilateral and regional issues.
