Iran Press/Iran news: If the E3 countries continue their passive approach toward the JCPOA in the reminding one-month deadline, then Iran will take the third step to reduce its commitments to the deal, Behrouz Kamalvandi said on the sidelines of the foreign minister's press conference on Monday.
The next step includes suspending a series of commitments, Kavalvandi said, so if they return to their commitments, Iran also will return to its commitments to the nuclear deal.
The spokesman for the IAEO pointed out to the fact that the European party suffers fear from the US, which he said should be overcome.
"Currently the capacity to overcome the fear exists, the US is putting pressure almost on the whole world, including Russia, China, and the European countries. Of course, when we talk to these countries in private, none of them accepts to undergo US pressures, but what's important is that they make serious decisions and take actions," the spokesman said.
The spokesman for the IAEO warned that if the other sides of the deal take no serious action, the next steps of Iran are on the way and the continuation of this would lead ultimately to a point that practically no deal will have remained.
With regard to the second step taken by Iran also the spokesman said that the country has surpassed 130-ton heavy water and 300 Kg enriched uranium.
On May 8, 2019, Iran notified its remaining partners in the 2015 nuclear deal that it would suspend the implementation of some of its commitments, based on paragraphs 26 and 36 of the deal, in reaction to the US’ unilateral withdrawal and Europe’s failure to live up to its commitments.
The first phase of the measure was kicked off on May 8 and the second phase started on July 7. 104/215
