Tehran (IP)- In a recent announcement, Iran's first vice president revealed that 67 oil and gas projects are scheduled to be launched by the end of the current Iranian calendar year, which concludes on March 19, 2024.

Iran PressIran News: These projects are part of a larger portfolio of 83 ventures valued at $36 billion.

Mohammad Mokhber, while providing further details, stated that out of the aforementioned projects, those with a combined value exceeding $15 billion will be operational by next March. This development signifies significant progress in Iran's efforts to enhance its oil and gas sector.

Building upon this update, Oil Minister Javad Owji emphasized that substantial strides were made in the previous year. Over $12 billion of semi-finished projects were completed, and an additional $15 billion worth of partially-finished ventures are expected to commence operations by mid-March 2024.

These developments highlight Iran's commitment to expanding its oil and gas industry, contributing to economic growth and bolstering its position in the global energy market.
