Iran's Foreign Minister:

Tehran (IP) - The Iranian Foreign Minister in a telephone conversation with the IAEA Director General, Rafael Mariano Grossi, warned that Non-constructive actions in the meeting of the Board of Governors will bring a proportionate response from Iran.

Iran Press/Iran News: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and the IAEA Director General, Rafael Mariano Grossi in a phone call today, Wednesday, 20 November, discussed the interactions between Iran and the Agency, following Grossi's visit to Tehran, as well as the developments related to the meeting of the board of governors.

Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs said: "In case the other parties ignore Iran's goodwill and interactive approach and put non-constructive measures on the agenda at the meeting of the Board of Governors by issuing a resolution, Iran will respond appropriately and proportionately to that."

Araghchi also referred to Grossi's visit to Iran and said that the understandings made during this trip once again proved the goodwill of Iran to promote interactions and cooperation with the IAEA.

In this telephone conversation, both sides emphasized their will to continue the path of dialogue and interaction to resolve disagreements, address other issues on the agenda, and avoid non-constructive and confrontational approaches.

Meanwhile, the Iranian Foreign Minister warned: "If the other parties ignore Iran's goodwill and interactive approach and put non-constructive actions on the agenda of the meeting of the Board of Governors through the issuance of a resolution, Iran will respond appropriately and proportionately.
