The Iranian Ambassador to Islamabad stated that Pakistan and Iran should establish a trade network.

Iran Press/Asia: A business community meeting was organized at the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce with the presence of Iran's Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam on Thursday, March 14, 2024.

During the meeting, Reza Amiri Moghadam emphasized the importance of strengthening the brotherly relations between Iran and Pakistan, adding that Iran is willing to engage in trade with all countries.

The President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce Ahsan Zafar Bakhtavari welcomed the Iranian ambassador while the chamber's former president Zafar Bakhtavari also thanked the Iranian ambassador.  

Addressing the event, the speakers said that Pakistan-Iran trade relations have become stronger than ever, and the creation of new crossings and markets on the borders also promotes trade between the two countries and their businessmen.

They also considered the exchange of trade delegations and holding exhibitions important for further improving the relations.

Also, the businessmen participating in the event welcomed Reza Amiri Moghaddam and at the end of the session, the Iranian ambassador also answered the questions of the Pakistani business community. 219
