Tehran (IP): The meeting of the Special Taskforce on Ukraine of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran adopted measures to facilitate the entry of Iranians leaving Ukraine into Iran.

Iran PressIran News: Chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Iran's Special Working Group on Ukraine of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran held a session on Wednesday evening, attended by the directors of the relevant departments of the Ministry.

The meeting reviewed the latest situation in Ukraine and the situation of Iranians living there, including Iranian citizens who have been forced to leave Ukraine to neighboring countries due to the severity of the crisis.

In this meeting, the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the neighboring countries of Ukraine, headed by the Deputy Minister of Administration and Finance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, presented a report on its visit to the region and the needs of Iranians living in Ukraine to return to Iran. Proposals to improve the situation of Iranians living in Ukraine were proposed and with the opinion of Amir-Abdollahian, several of them were approved.

At this meeting, it was decided that with the cooperation of the Customs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, measures will be taken to facilitate the entry of Iranians leaving Ukraine into Iran.

On February 24, Russia formally declared a special military operation against Ukraine, noting that its operation in Ukraine is not a start to the war, but an attempt to prevent a global war.
