Iran Press/Iran news: The drills are underway in the central province of Isfahan as part of the large-scale drills, codenamed Eqtedar (Authority) 1403, which is being held across the country. "This exercise will be conducted within the framework of the armed forces’ power display maneuvers," General Rahimzadeh stated, emphasizing the importance of revisiting past training, incorporating lessons learned from surveillance of adversarial movements, and addressing the evolving needs of the nation's air defense.
He further revealed that advanced air defense units from both the Iranian Army and the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) have been stationed near critical sites. These units will operate under the unified command of Iran’s integrated air defense network. Over the course of the exercise, these systems will be tested in simulated defensive operations, reinforcing Iran’s capability to secure its airspace.
"This maneuver will highlight the capability of our air defense units," General Rahimzadeh remarked. "Given the necessity of operational security and maintaining the element of surprise, only limited aspects of this exercise will be publicized."
During this phase of the military exercise, air defense units of the IRGC Aerospace Force are providing complete protection of the Shahid Ahmadi Roshan nuclear site, also known as the Natanz site, against a multitude of aerial threats under critical electronic warfare conditions.
