Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking at a press conference following the signing of significant naval contracts at the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development on Tuesday, Admiral Irani announced that the government has taken the first vital step in executing the Supreme Leader’s directives for the development of a maritime-centered economy.
"We have already demonstrated our expertise in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, and the ‘Dena’ destroyer is a proud product of the youth of this land," Admiral Irani remarked. "Today, Iran is at the forefront of producing sophisticated marine industries and equipment," he continued.
The contracts signed involve the construction of various naval vessels, marking a major advancement in the country’s self-sufficiency in defense and maritime technologies. Irani stated that what was once considered complex – building high-tech naval vessels – has now become a straightforward task for domestic specialists.
"This is the first significant action by the government to fulfill the Supreme Leader's vision of maritime development," the Admiral explained. "We are now capable of building vessels at this level with ease."
Irani also concluded with a tribute to the nation's martyrs, saying: "Martyrs, bear witness that the revolutionary youth have done what will make us proud before you."
The contracts signed today represent a clear step toward reinforcing Iran's naval defense capabilities and strengthening the nation's maritime economy.
