Damascus(IP): A joint judicial committee of Iran, Syria and Iraq has convened in Damascus, according to Syria’s state SANA news agency.

Iran Press/ West Asia: In the meeting on Tuesday, the committee members exchanged views on terrorist-related cases being examined in the courts of the three countries, as well as cooperation on the trial of the terrorist elements and legal prosecution of the Zionist regime in launching a strike against Iran’s consular building in Damascus which killed several Iranian military advisors.  

The Iranian delegation to the meeting was chaired by Vice-President of the Judiciary for International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi, who also heads the country’s High Council for Human Rights.

In his trip to Syria, Gharibabadi is also accompanied by some other Iranian judiciary officials including Tehran’s Prosecutor Ali Salehi. 204
