Iran Press/Iran news: In a message on his official account on X social media, Nasser Kanani wrote: As in the past, the Islamic Republic of Iran is determined to realize the ideals of the Palestinian nation and the consensus of the Palestinian groups in confronting the occupation of the apartheid regime of Israel and their collective movement in the direction of exercising the fundamental right to self-determination. Iran supports the liberation of all the historic land of Palestine and the formation of an independent Palestinian state with the capital of Al-Quds.
Earlier on Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi announced the agreement reached by 14 Palestinian groups on the establishment of an "Interim Government of National Accord" in the post-war Gaza Strip.
He also announced that at the end of this two-day meeting, Hamas signed the national unity agreement.
After the signing of a joint statement in Beijing by various Palestinian factions, Wang Yi said: "The most significant development is the agreement to form an interim government of national unity to rule after the Gaza war." 204
