Iran PressIran News: Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on the occasion of the kidnapping anniversary of four Iranian diplomats, including the high-profile Iranian commander Haj Ahmad Motevasselian, on July 5, 1982.

The Islamic Republic of Iran always holds the Israeli regime and its supporters accountable for the terrorist act and its legal and political responsibilities.

Appreciating Lebanon for its efforts to examine the status quo of the Iranian diplomats kidnapped, Iran put emphasis on the formation of a fact-finding committee between the two countries and the international entities to pursue that case.
