Iran Press/ Iran news: In a telephone conversation, the foreign ministers of Iran and Saudi Arabia emphasized the need to speed up joint cooperation in various fields, including economic, commercial, investment and tourism cooperation.
Regarding the recent important meeting of the Iranian Foreign Minister with the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah, the two parties agreed that the necessary steps should be taken in this direction in accordance with the proper procedure of political relations between the two countries.
Also, noting the importance of the role of cultural and sports cooperation in strengthening the conviviality between the two nations, the two Foreign Ministers agreed to advise their sports organizations to resolve the recent problem that arose during the Asian Champions League competitions through mutual respect, dialogue, and understanding.
Considering the importance of the continuation of football matches between the two countries in the direction of strengthening all-round cooperation, the Saudi Foreign Minister invited Amir-Abdollahian to join him in the first football match which will be held in Saudi Arabia. 219
